"I have loved the children stories, Spiderwick Chronicles, for many years now. In these stories, there is a
round stone that, when you look through it, you can see all the things that are hidden from the world of
men. In the stories, there is only one stone, but I know that there are many such stones hidden in the
deep, dark places of the world. Each one will show you different creatures and no two are alike. I found
one on my dresser, left like a changeling child in place of a sad, plastic, pinky ring. I have sketched some
of the things I have seen through the stone for you and they are titled “The Fairy Collector” and “Through
the Seeing Stone.” The Fairy Collector is employed by Queen Mab to gather up the stupid fairies for fall
storage. Enjoy your glimpses of what is hidden in the everyday."
